HIKE TO DISCOVER
A series of television and theatrical commercials for outdoor shoe designer Merrell showcasing their new Moab Speed 2 hiking shoes in connection with their Bachelorette Campaign on the 3+ Network.
The spots designed for broadcast, web and social media were inspired by their slogan “Hike to Discover” and were shot in the Swiss Alps and Forests across three days.

Early on in the process the decision was made to create two spots to serve the different platforms. The first, a 30” dynamic and entertaining commercial was designed for broadcast while a second, longer film with a more emotional tone was produced for theatrical and online distribution. Furthermore, a series of short, horizontal and vertical clips were edited to populate TV-Stingers and various social media accounts. The voice over was also translated into two other languages to serve as board an audience as possible.
